The concert at Grace Church in Chicago was attended by the composer, who has been commissioned by Lyric Opera of Chicago to compose a new opera for the 2014-15 season, and by world-renowned soprano Ren\u00e9e Fleming, Lyric Opera&#8217;s Artistic Consultant.
